Frequently Asked Questions

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days (Monday–Friday), and transit time is an estimated 5–7 days (Monday–Friday) once your order ships. We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. These timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on your location and unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping is $8.00 USD for orders under $80.00, and shipping is free on orders of $80.00 and up. We currently ship only within the United States and do not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. If you haven't received your package within the estimated timeframe, please check your tracking information first. For packages marked as delivered but not received, contact us within 48 hours at contact@gardengadgetsusa.com.

What is your return policy?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it — unused, with tags, and in its original packaging — and you'll need your receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, contact us at contact@gardengadgetsusa.com; items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. There is no restocking fee. Please note that sale items cannot be refunded, and gift cards, custom/personalized orders, downloadable software, and some health and personal care items are non-returnable.

What if my order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect?

If you receive a defective, damaged, or wrong product, contact us at contact@gardengadgetsusa.com with photos. We will provide a return shipping label, and once the return is tracking we will ship a replacement immediately. Exchanges are offered only for defective or damaged products. Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you by email; approved refunds are credited to your original payment method and can take up to 10 days to reflect in your account.

What are your products made of? What is PLA?

Most of our products are 3D printed from PLA, an environmentally safe, eco-sourced biopolymer (a plant-based thermoplastic). It's impact and moisture resistant and made for stability and longevity, which is why we use it across our moss poles, planters, propagation stations, and seed-starting tools.

Can I use 3D printed PLA products outdoors?

PLA is durable and moisture resistant, but it is thermally sensitive: avoid leaving products in a hot car or in direct, magnified sunlight (for example, right against a single-pane, south-facing window in summer) where temperatures exceed 100°F (38°C), as warping will occur. Some products, like our Art Deco inspired planters, are designed for both indoor and outdoor use — check each product page for specific guidance.

How does the Seed Taper work?

The Seed Taper lets you effortlessly create seed tapes by loading a water-soluble tape and inserting seeds as it dispenses, giving you precise seed placement and uniform spacing for better germination and healthier plants — no more fiddling with toilet paper. Each kit includes the Seed Taper (dispenser and folder), 90 feet of water-soluble tape, and adhesive strips to secure your taper to a smooth surface. The Seed Taper is warrantied against defects for 1 year from the date of purchase, and tape refills are available on our website.

What seeds can I use with the seed tape?

The Seed Taper is versatile and suitable for a variety of seeds, from flowers to vegetables. The water-soluble tape dissolves completely in 30 seconds or less when exposed to water and leaves no residue — it's biodegradable and environmentally friendly, so it's safe for your garden.

How do I assemble and extend a moss pole?

Our moss pole systems are modular and friction-fit — no glue or tools required. Fill the base with potting mix or your chosen medium, align the rails of the extension module with the base, and press down firmly until the seam sits flush. When your plant outgrows the pole, simply stack another module on top — no repotting needed. Note: medium and large pole parts are fully compatible and stackable with one another, but extra-large parts are NOT compatible with medium and large parts.

What do I fill my moss pole with?

You can fill the poles with sphagnum moss or any medium of your choice — or leave them empty (moss is not included). For best results, soak high-quality sphagnum moss until fully saturated, then squeeze it out until it is damp but not dripping, and avoid overstuffing — aerial roots want airy contact and oxygen, not a compressed brick of moss. Check moss dampness every 3–5 days depending on ambient humidity.

How do I clean and care for my products?

Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and avoid chemical solvents or acetone. Keep PLA products away from sustained heat above 100°F (38°C). If you have any other questions, contact our customer service team at contact@gardengadgetsusa.com or +1 281-451-2422.
