Assembly & Care Guide

1. Assembly: The Modular Lock — a precision friction-fit design. No glue or tools required.

• Anchor: Fill the base planter with potting mix or other medium before attaching the moss system.
• Align: Match the rails of the extension module with the base.
• Engage: Press down firmly until the seam sits flush — you will feel a distinct mechanical "seat."

2. Filling the Matrix (Moss Prep)

• Hydrate: Soak high-quality Sphagnum Moss in water until fully saturated, then squeeze it out until it is damp, not dripping.
• Pack: Tuck moss into the back of the honeycomb face. Pro-Tip: Keep it loose and airy rather than packed into a brick — aroid roots need oxygen as much as they need moisture.

3. Hydration Strategy

• The Drip Cap: Pour water directly into the top Drip Cap reservoir. Gravity slowly hydrates the moss column without washing out the substrate.
• Frequency: Check moss dampness every 3-5 days depending on ambient humidity.

4. Material Intelligence (Important)

• Heat Warning: This support is crafted from precision-extruded thermoplastic (PLA). While durable for indoor horticulture, it is thermally sensitive. Do not leave it in a hot car or in direct, magnified sunlight (e.g., right against a single-pane south-facing window in summer) where temps exceed 100°F (38°C). Warping will occur.
• Cleaning: Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth. Avoid chemical solvents or acetone.
